Compatibility
CORONATE HX and other curing agents (CONORATE L, CORONATE HL, etc. ), polyols (acrylic polyols, alkyd polyols) have excellent compatibility. However, please conduct a compatibility test before mixing.
Application
Due to the two-component combination of CORONATE HX and acrylic polyol The type coating has excellent weather resistance, is not easily affected by ultraviolet rays, and has little color change. It is used in automotive refinish coatings and industrial coatings. Two-component coatings composed of CORONATE HX and alkyd polyols are used as woodworking coatings. When CORONATE HX is added to resins containing nitrocellulose-based, alkyd-based resins, or polyethylene resins, it can improve the physical properties of paint such as chemical resistance. However, it is necessary to study the mixing ratio and the like when using it.
Precautions for use
(1) during storage and storage
Since CORONATE HX is a reactive isocyanate compound, care must be taken to avoid direct sunlight , Keep away from moisture, store in airtight container. For long-term storage, please keep it in a temperature environment of 20~30°C.
(2) When using and changing the package
Isocyanate is a very active substance. When reacting with water, CO2 gas is produced. When isocyanate is placed in a container mixed with water and stored in an airtight manner, the internal pressure of the container will increase due to the generation of gas, which may cause the container to rupture. When a small amount is taken from a container many times, it will deteriorate due to the action of moisture in the air. Therefore, before opening and then sealing, it must be fully replaced with dry air, and great attention should be paid to prevent moisture from mixing
（3）Dilution
When CORONATE HX is diluted with a solvent, not only attention should be paid to the water content in the solvent, but also attention should be paid to prevent water from mixing during the dilution operation. Please perform dilution in a dry room.

⑥The free isocyanate content of this product is less than 1%. Long-term storage will not increase.
