Features
CORONATE HXT is different from the original biurets and urethane adducts. In addition to the excellent physical properties of general non-yellowing hardeners, CORONATE HXT is especially compatible with biurets Compared with urea, it has good heat resistance and good compatibility when mixed with polyols or solvents. It is widely used in motorcycle and automobile parts, automobile repair, woodworking, etc.

Solubility
CORONATE HXT is soluble in ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, toluene, xylene and other solvents. However, it cannot be used together with solvents such as alcohols containing active hydrogen.

When diluted
CORONATE HXT is diluted to a solid content of 20%. However, please conduct a compatibility test with the diluted solvent before use after confirmation. When CORONATE HXT is diluted to a solid content below 20%, turbidity and precipitation will occur. Please use a solvent with a moisture content of 0.1% or less.

compatibility
CORONATE HXT has excellent compatibility with other CORONATE products and NIPPOLLAN products. And it also has excellent compatibility with acrylic polyols, alkyd polyols and special-purpose fluorine-containing polyols. However, please conduct a compatibility test before use.

Application
● CORONATE HXT mixed with acrylic polyols can produce non-yellowing coatings with excellent abrasion resistance and solvent resistance. It can be used for two-component type car repair, industrial use, etc.
● Two-component coatings composed of CORONATE HXT and alkyd polyols are used as industrial and woodworking coatings.
● When CORONATE HXT is added with nitrocellulose, alkyd resin or polyethylene resin, it can greatly improve the solvent resistance and other physical properties of the paint.

Precautions for use
● Storage and storage
  CORONATE HXT is a reactive isocyanate compound, so care must be taken to avoid direct sunlight, keep away from moisture, and store in airtight containers. For long-term storage, please keep it in an environment with a temperature of 15~25°C.
● When using and repackaging
Isocyanate is a very active substance. When reacting with moisture, carbon dioxide gas is produced. When isocyanate is placed in a container mixed with water and stored in an airtight manner, the gas generated will increase the internal pressure of the container and cause the container to rupture. When taking a certain amount from a container, there is a problem that deterioration will occur due to the action of moisture in the air. Therefore, before resealing after opening, it must be fully replaced with dry air, and great care must be taken to prevent moisture from entering.
● When diluted
When CORONATE HXT is diluted with a solvent, not only attention should be paid to the water content in the solvent, but also attention should be paid to prevent water from mixing during the dilution operation. Please perform dilution in a dry room.
