Isopropyl myristate is a colorless and odorless liquid. It can be mixed with vegetable oil in any proportion to become transparent. It is not easy to hydrolyze and rancid, and can be mixed with alcohols and ethers. Miscible with organic solvents such as , methylene chloride, and grease.
Isopropyl myristate can be used as the following additives:
Used as a dispersant for high-end cosmetics, lipsticks, hair creams, lipsticks, cleansing creams, powders and medical ointments, as emulsifiers and wetting agents for cosmetics, and as a fixative for perfumes.
Carrier solvent. GB2760-96 stipulates the permitted food spices.
