Evonik’s silica nanocomposite material is colloidal silica dispersed in Dispersions in resins or solvents. These products have low viscosity, high transparency and no sedimentation. In addition to the aforementioned advantages, silica nanocomposites do not affect transparency. It is therefore particularly suitable for clear coatings requiring scratch resistance and steel wool resistance, and can be used on substrates such as wood and plastics (such as PC, PMMA and PET).
