Usage

BYK-011 is suitable for defoaming of waterborne coatings (and radiation curing systems), The additive is free of silicones and mineral oils. Especially recommended for waterborne two-component polyurethane systems and to prevent foaming during hardener addition. BYK-011 is also suitable for use in varnishes and for defoaming ultrafiltrates. Recommended dosage Waterborne two-component polyurethane system: 1-2.5% additive dosage (purchased form) based on total formulation Other water-based systems: 0.1-1.5% additive dosage (purchased form) based on total formulation

The above data is the empirical dosage, and the optimal dosage needs to be determined through a series of experiments.

Join Methods and Processing Instructions
