Application
• XIAMETER™ OFX-3667 Fluid is a block copolymer that can incorporate organic components to enhance surface properties.
• One of the applications is as a wetting agent in organic lubricant formulations for the comprehensive treatment of synthetic fibers: in addition the glycol group imparts antistatic properties. Since it dissolves in water, it is easier to clean.
• When used as an organic fabric coating additive, it can impart anti-sticking properties and softness. In addition, some coatings can also enhance wear resistance.
• Ethylene glycol as a capping end group contains reactive hydroxyl groups and is reactive with organic polymers such as polyurethane. Therefore, XIAMETER OFX-3667 Silicone Fluid can become part of the network through chemical reaction, enhancing the hydrolytic stability of the resin.
