JEFFAMINE® M-1000 polyetheramine can be stored for a long time in air at room temperature. However, it is generally recommended to store under a blanket of nitrogen to reduce the risk of accidental exposure to high temperatures and to reduce the absorption of moisture and carbon dioxide from the air. It should be noted that at temperatures above 140°F (60°C), discoloration will occur regardless of the atmosphere in which it is protected. Pipes and equipment coated with JEFFAMINE® M-1000 polyetheramine can be cleaned with warm water or steam. In the event of an accidental release, the area should be flushed with copious amounts of water. The proper way to dispose of waste is by incineration in accordance with relevant federal, state or local regulations.
Affordance
In North America or Asia, samples may be obtained from the Sample Processing Center at 1-800-662-0924. In other regions, including Europe, samples can be requested from a Huntsman sales office.
