Vertrus polymerized castor oil series pale1000, pale170, pale10, pale4, pale16, Vorite105, Vorite110, Vorite115, Vorite125

Product Introduction
Oxidative polymerization products produced by the reaction of castor oil at the double bond position have higher viscosity, lower solubility in aliphatic solvents, higher compatibility with various resins, and improved Ability to wetting and dispersing pigments. The polymerized castor oil is a permanent plasticizer for nitrocellulose paint. Provides it with adhesion, elasticity, high gloss and solvent resistance.
This polymeric oil is used for plasticizing various resins in adhesives and sealing systems, inks and hot melts. The heavier viscosity polymeric oil is a processing aid and plasticizer for rubbery polymers, providing oil and solvent resistance.
Vorite® oils have been polymerized through a proprietary process to provide excellent thermal stability and viscosity. They have essentially the same uses as other polymeric oils.

Grade Description
Pale170, Pale4, Pale 10 are low polymerization oil products with off-white color and excellent plasticizing reactivity. Recommended for inks, cloth dyes, paper and water-white wood finishes, they will give excellent sanding, plating and rubbing properties.
Pale 1000, Pale 16 and #15 oils are medium viscosity general purpose plasticizers used in cellulosic paints, inks and strippable coatings. They have good compatibility and film-forming properties while imparting toughness, abrasion resistance and high gloss to the product. These products are excellent grinding media and disperse pigments. Makes plug valve lubricants, leak stoppers and sealants oil and solvent resistant and imparts product adhesion to tacky gauze and belt oil.
A high viscosity polymer of #30 oil and #40 oil, it is a paint with extreme toughness, solvent resistance and abrasion resistance. They are also good tackifiers for liner adhesives and adhesives, and liquid plasticizing processing aids for rubber compounds.
Vorite® oil is a polymer plasticizer for cellulose and elastomers. In adhesives, sealants, liner adhesives and belt oils, they promote the plasticization of flexible urethane foams and elastomeric reactants (polyols). Other uses include paints, inks and plug valve lubricants.
