Solubility/Dilution
Generally, Bayhydur® XP 2451 is compatible with organic solvents such as esters, ether esters, xylene and solvent naphtha 100#. But solubility and compatibility must be tested each time. Solvents of polyurethane grade (less than 0.05 % water) should be used.

Features/Applications
 Because of its hydrophilicity, Bayhydur® XP 2451 is easy to emulsify in the water phase and is mainly used as a crosslinking agent for water-based polyhydric hydroxyl binders (Bayhydrol®). Bayhydur® XP 2451 can also be added to traditional hydroxyl-free dispersions to improve various properties.

Save
The product is sensitive to moisture. When stored in airtight containers at not exceeding 30°C, this product has a shelf life of at least 6 months. However, the viscosity may increase slightly with time.
