Desmocap® 11 can be used to prepare curable liquid solvent-free polyurethane system. Polyamides, often mixed with epoxy resins, are ideal curing agents. Best results are obtained when used together with cycloaliphatic diamines (such as Laromin® C260, Ancamin® XT, TCD-diamine, xylylenediamine, etc.). When mixed with epoxy resins, Desmocap® 11 acts as a reactive toughener.

Generally, Desmocap® 11 has good compatibility with esters, ketones, ethers, aromatics, various tougheners, turpentine and Kristallöl® 60 (turpentine). However, the storage stability of its diluted solution still needs to be tested. Polyurethane grade solvents should be used (less than 0.05% water) and should not contain reactive groups. Long-term storage of low solid content solutions may cause turbidity and precipitation.

- Recommended storage temperature: 10-30°C.
- Avoid moisture, heat, and foreign substances.

General Information: This product should always be stored in its original in an airtight container. Storage at elevated temperatures may result in an increase in viscosity.

If the product exceeds the above-mentioned 6-month period, it does not mean that it no longer meets the set values ​​in the specifications or characteristic values. However, it is recommended that products older than 6 months from the date of shipment be tested before use to confirm that they still comply with the values ​​set in the specifications or characteristic values.
