Purpose and Application
Hexa Acids are the most important aliphatic dibasic acids, which can undergo condensation reactions with multifunctional compounds, such as hexamethylenediamine. Industrially, the condensation reaction of adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine is used to produce nylon 66 salt (abbreviated as AH salt), and nylon 66 salt can be further polycondensed to obtain nylon 66 resin. In addition, adipic acid can also react with alcohols to produce adipate esters, which are used as plasticizers, synthetic lubricants, and polyester polyols.
Protective measures
①Breathe System: When the powder concentration in the air exceeds the standard, you must wear a self-priming filter dust mask;
②Eyes: Wear chemical safety goggles
③Hands: wear rubber gloves
④Others: Smoking is strictly prohibited in the workplace. Pay attention to personal hygiene.
Storage Considerations
Save in In a cool and ventilated warehouse, fire and heat sources should be stored separately from oxidants, reducing agents, alkalis, etc., remember to store them together, and equip corresponding types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment. The storage area should be equipped with suitable materials to contain leakage.
