After obtaining permission from the patent owner and sufficient ethylene sources, Mobil’s kettle production technology, the ExxonMobil process, was selected. Currently, three units have been authorized in China, including Zhongtian Hechuang’s 120,000 tons LDPE, Shandong Levima and Sinochem Quanzhou’s 100,000 tons/year EVA units (which have been approved for expansion to 140,000 tons/year). The operation is good and stable, and Sinochem Quanzhou uses its original experience in production with ExxonMobil technology and can consider reducing energy consumption during production.
