On November 30, the main project of Jintang New Materials, with a total investment of 76 billion yuan from Rongsheng Holding Group, officially started construction in the eastern area of the Jintang New Materials Project in the northern reclamation area of Jintang, Zhoushan, Zhejiang. He Zhongwei, Secretary of the Zhoushan Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the New District Party Working Committee, announced the start of the project.
It is understood that the first batch of projects has a total investment of 26.24 billion yuan and covers an area of 3,500 acres. The construction content includes 10 sets of main equipment and 12 public projects such as a control center and a ro-ro terminal. It is expected that by the end of 2024, the first batch of 10 main units will be completed; the relevant units will be put into operation in June 2025.
Jintang New Material Project
This project is located on Jintang Island, Dinghai District, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. It is invested and constructed by Rongsheng New Materials (Zhoushan) Co., Ltd.
The project will build a new 600,000 tons/year propane dehydrogenation unit, a 3 million tons/year catalytic cracking unit, a 1 million tons/year gas separation unit, a 600,000 tons/year aromatics extraction combined unit, a 300,000 tons/year PEO unit, and a 100 10,000 tons/year EVA combined unit, 200,000 tons/year POE unit, 400,000/250,000 tons/year phenol acetone unit, 200,000 tons/year 1,3-propanediol unit, 400,000/880,000 tons/year PO/SM unit , 400,000 tons/year PTT unit, 500,000 tons/year isobutane normalization unit, 600,000 tons/year maleic anhydride unit, 500,000 tons/year BDO unit, 200,000 tons/year PBS unit, 400,000 tons /year PBT unit, 120,000 tons/year isobutylene unit, 180,000 tons/year butene oxidative dehydrogenation unit, 150,000 tons/year CO₂ recovery unit, 160,000 tons/year ethoxylation unit, 200,000 tons/year DMC plant, 480,000 tons/year polyether polyol plant, 1.2 million tons/year ABS plant, 2×240,000 tons/year bisphenol A plant, 2×260,000 tons/year polycarbonate plant, 100,000 tons/year Annual CHDM unit, 100,000 tons/year PCT unit, 100,000 tons/year PCTG unit, 50,000 tons/year UHMWPE unit, 2×450,000 tons/year PP unit, 300,000 tons/year α-olefin unit, 600,000 Tons/year polyurethane elastomer device, 140,000 N/h coal-based hydrogen production device, 2×20,000 tons/year sulfuric acid device and other production equipment.
