Recently, Zhejiang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhejiang Petrochemical"), a holding subsidiary of Rongsheng Petrochemical Co., Ltd. The 240,000 tons/year PPG production line in the annual polyether unit has produced qualified products.
Polyether polyol is an important raw material for polyurethane products and is widely used in various types of hard foam, soft foam and adhesive products. It is currently an extremely widely used chemical raw material. Among them, soft foam polyether polyols are the most widely used and widely used type in the polyol family. They are used in furniture sponges, mattresses, car seats, and in the preparation of various types of elastomers and molded products.
The total production capacity of the company's polyether plant ranks among the top five in the country, with significant scale benefits. The plant relies on the world's largest refining and chemical integration project, and about 90% of the raw materials (propylene oxide, propylene glycol, styrene, acrylonitrile, etc.) are produced by the company. Self-produced, cost competitive advantage is obvious. The company has many polyether product brands and diverse production processes, which can be flexibly switched according to market conditions. The project is located in a chemical product consumption area, with low logistics costs and rich sales channels.
The company optimizes and improves its industrial structure through "optimizing chains, extending chains, and supplementing chains", and further expands the production capacity of high-end chemical materials and chemicals to enhance the company's comprehensive competitiveness, which is of positive significance to long-term development. The company will continue to prioritize production safety, optimize process parameters, improve operation levels, implement dual-carbon emission reductions with practical actions, and continue to promote the company's high-quality development.
