The annual output of 130,000 tons of butadiene extraction device successfully opened up the whole process and produced high-grade product butadiene , 2 days earlier than the original plan, to achieve a "good start" for the first device to be put into operation after the Spring Festival.
Butadiene is the main raw material of synthetic rubber, the current market price continues to rise, and the economic benefits are remarkable. The smooth commissioning of the butadiene extraction unit of the million-ton ethylene project of Hainan Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. not only increased the high added value of "triene" products, but also contributed to the annual production of 170,000 tons for Hainan Baling Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. in Yangpu Petrochemical Park. The styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer project provides raw materials, continuously improves the Yangpu C4 industrial chain, realizes the chain extension, supplementary chain, and strong chain of the petrochemical new material industry, and leverages the advantages of the Yangpu petrochemical new material industry to create a high-end intelligent green integrated offshore petrochemical base.
The butadiene extraction unit is one of the main units of the million tons of ethylene project. The device uses mixed C4 produced by ethylene plant as raw material and acetonitrile as solvent to obtain polymer grade 1,3-butadiene product. Butadiene product is the main monomer of synthetic rubber in the rubber industry. It is used to manufacture butadiene rubber, anti-butadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, polybutadiene rubber, etc. It can be used as a raw material for tire production and is widely used It is used in the fields of shoe sole materials, plastic modification, adhesives and asphalt modification. It can be copolymerized with styrene to produce a variety of resins with a wide range of uses.
In recent years, Danzhou Yangpu has continued to extend the downstream industrial chain around the million-ton ethylene project, and introduced the second phase of Yisheng Petrochemical, Oak Chemical's annual output of 200,000 tons of epoxy-derived green energy new materials, and Baling Petrochemical's annual output of 17 Projects including 10,000 tons of styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer, high-performance new materials of Kingfa Technology, rubber and plastic additives for Yueyang Xingyue petrochemical industry, and Hainan Zhongyang FFS heavy-duty packaging film. The above-mentioned ethylene downstream supporting projects alone have an annual output value of nearly 19 billion yuan and a tax revenue of more than 600 million yuan.
