The implementation of the Levima Wison New Materials (POE) project will break the foreign monopoly in the field of polyolefin elastomer production technology. It is of great strategic significance for breaking through the “stuck neck” technology and realizing local substitution. It is an extension of the Taixing Economic Development Zone , chain-replenishing and chain-strengthening important supporting projects, which will play a positive role in upgrading the olefin industry chain and enhancing core competitiveness.
Levima New Technology announced on the evening of August 23 that in order to strengthen its competitive advantage in the field of new energy materials, the company and Wison (China) Investment Co., Ltd. jointly invested in the establishment of a joint venture company, Levima Wison (Jiangsu) New Materials Co., Ltd. It is planned to build a 300,000 tons/year POE (polyolefin elastomer) project, of which the first phase is 100,000 tons/year and the second phase is 200,000 tons/year. It will produce a series of high-end olefin material products such as POE photovoltaic film materials and toughening materials. The total project investment is 5.2 billion yuan.

In the field of high-end polyolefin materials, it has strong technology accumulation and market channel advantages, especially in new energy materials. It was the first in China to develop EVA photovoltaic Adhesive film materials, products are in the leading position in the industry.
After years of technology accumulation, Wison CIC has independently developed a complete set of POE (polyolefin elastomer) process technology, reaching the internationally advanced level. Wison will transfer its complete set of technologies to the joint venture.
