Desmodur® 0118 is a 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate monomer with a molecular weight of 250 and is a colorless to pale yellow solid at room temperature. This product is mainly used in the production of polyurethane products. Sampling When sampling product, protect product from contact with moisture or exposure to moisture.

Save
Desmodur 0118 should be stored in a dry, airtight container at a storage temperature of (45±1)°C, and the shelf life of the product is 10 days.

Operation Guide
Like all isocyanates, Desmodur 0118 Liquid is very sensitive to water and reacts with water to produce insoluble urea and carbon dioxide. In a closed container, the carbon dioxide produced will cause the pressure of the container to rise and cause danger. Desmodur 0118 Liquid Exposure to air, especially sunlight, will accelerate its yellowing. It is therefore recommended to store Desmodur 0118 Liquid in liquid form under a dry nitrogen atmosphere. Yellowing generally does not affect the processability of the product. Desmodur 0118 Liquid is heat sensitive and forms dimers.
