Solubility/Dilution
Desmodur ® BL3370 MPA can use esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, propylene glycol methyl ether acetateester, acetone, butanone, methyl Isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, solvent naphtha 100, 150, 200S and thisA mixture of some solvents. However, the stability of the resulting solution still needs to be tested. Aliphatic hydrocarbons are not suitable as solvents. Desmodur® BL3370MPA cannot be diluted below 40% solids. Long-term storage of solutions with low solid content may cause turbidity and precipitation.

Compatibility
etc. When equivalent cross-linking reaction, Desmodur® BL 3370MPA is compatible with the following products: Desmophen® 651, 670, 680, 690, 800, 1100, 1300, RD181 , A160, A365, A450 and Desmophen® T1665. The compatibility of the mixture must always be checked.

Features/Applications
Desmodur ® BL3370 MPA mixed with polyols to prepare lightfast one-component polyurethane baking varnish coatings. This product is mainly used inHigh grade industrial topcoat (can/coil) and automotive OEM primer. Desmodur® BL3370 MPA is also availableAs an additive added to the traditional baking system to enhance its flexibility and adhesion.
typical The baking conditions are as follows:

100°C 50 minutes
or 120°C for 20 minutes
or 160°C for 7 minutes

Yellowing may appear at 160 °C above, mainly depends on co-reactants used and bake time. When using coil coating, sufficient crosslinking was achieved at a maximum plate temperature (PMT) of approximately 216°C. It is not necessary to add a catalyst to Desmodur® BL3370 MPA.

Desmodur ® BL3370 MPA should be stored in airtight containers. Under proper storage conditions at room temperature, this product has a shelf life of at least 6 months.
