Application
1. Polyurethane field: Polyurethane elastomers are widely used in synthetic rubber, elastic fiber, synthetic leather and other fields. 1,6-Hexanediol can be used in polyester resin to modify polyurethane elastomer. The modified resin has excellent mechanical strength, water resistance, heat resistance and oxidation resistance.
2. Polyester field: Since the 1,6-hexanediol unsaturated polyester carbon chain is more difficult to hydrolyze than other short-chain alcohol unsaturated polyesters, and It has good flexibility, so it can improve the alkali resistance of the resin and improve its adhesion with glass fiber. In terms of saturated polyester, the polyester prepared from 1,6-hexanediol and 4,4-diformyl-diphenylsulfonic acid has high tensile strength and high elasticity. Excellent solvent resistance and swelling resistance, especially suitable for photographic film base.
