On September 28, the Weifang Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau announced the PBAT/PBS degradable plastic integrated project (Phase I) 100,000 tons/year BDO project that plans to make an environmental impact assessment review decision.
Project Overview:
Project name: PBAT/PBS degradable plastic integrated project (Phase I) 100,000 tons/year BDO project
Construction location: The project is located in Shouguang Hou Town Chemical Industrial Park, south of Fengnan Road, west of Fengdong Road, and north of the Shouguang Alliance Petrochemical Co., Ltd. factory.
Construction unit: Shandong Alliance Group New Materials Co., Ltd.
Environmental impact assessment agency: Shandong Qingke Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.
The project covers an area of 34,193m2, with a new 100,000 tons/year BDO unit, a 20,000Nm3/h methanol hydrogen production unit, a hazardous waste warehouse, and a circulating water station; a new 18t/d incinerator ( Treatment of liquid waste and organic waste gas), a 20 million kcal/h thermal oil furnace (using methanol hydrogen desorption/natural gas as fuel), and more than 200 new equipment (sets). The project adopts the maleic anhydride esterification and hydrogenation production process. After completion, it will have an annual output of 86,000 tons of BDO, 9,552 tons of GBL, and 3,200 tons of THF. The total project investment is 650 million yuan, of which environmental protection investment totals 17.7 million yuan, accounting for 2.72% of the total project investment.
