PPG Zhangjiagang factory (Phase III) officially put into operation

October 12, 2023 – PPG (NYSE: PPG) recently announced that PPG Zhangjiagang Factory (Phase III) has officially been put into operation, with an estimated annual production capacity of 80,000 tons. By introducing advanced product technology and production equipment, the factory can customize coating products for customers, improve product quality and production efficiency, reduce operating costs, achieve green and low-carbon production, and contribute to the sustainable development of the industry.

The Zhangjiagang plant is PPG’s only resin production base in China. This expansion project marks another milestone in PPG’s efforts to create outstanding value with global customers. With better resource integration, advanced automation equipment and a superior geographical location, PPG Zhangjiagang Factory (Phase III) will provide a full range of production services to customers throughout East China, continue to promote the development of China’s business, and help employees grow and customers business development.
