Ultraviolet absorber UV-329 is a benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber that can absorb 270-380 nanometer ultraviolet light with an absorption peak of 343 nanometers.
Physical and chemical properties:
It is understood that UV absorber UV-329 is in the form of white to light yellow powder, with a melting point of 101-106°C and a flash point 239.2°C. It has the characteristics of non-coloring, low volatility, easy dispersion, low migration, good thermal stability and high absorption efficiency.
Uses are as follows:
Suitable for PC, PE, PP, PS, PVC, EVA, PMMA, ABS resin, epoxy resin, cellulose resin . Especially suitable for colorless and light-colored products. The general dosage is 0.5-1%.
Protect polymers from ultraviolet radiation, protect the weather resistance of molded products, membrane materials, sheets, and fiber products under outdoor conditions, and maintain their appearance, mechanical and other properties.
Recommended for use in polycarbonate (PC), unsaturated resin, and acrylic systems. It can effectively prevent yellowing and aging of polymers. It is also used in resin lenses.
In outdoor products, it can be used together with phenolic antioxidants, phosphite antioxidants and hindered amine light stabilizers.
