It is obtained by using high-viscosity petroleum fractions as raw materials, dewaxing them first, then blending them with medium-viscosity lubricating oil, and then adding fuming sulfuric acid and activated clay for deodorization and decolorization. Hydrogenation methods can also be used for further refinement.
Uses of white petroleum jelly:
Defoaming agent; lubricant; release agent; protective coating. It is widely used as the base raw material for hair wax, hair lotion, cold cream, moisturizing cream, anti-cracking cream, lotion, lipstick and other cosmetics. It is also the base raw material for various ointment products in pharmaceutical cosmetics.
