Used as heat stabilizer and lubricant for polyvinyl chloride. Thermal stabilization effect is greater than calcium stearate, and it also has better light stabilization effect. It has good synergy with cadmium soap, barium soap or organotin compounds.
However, this product is susceptible to sulfide contamination and will bloom when used in large amounts. Moreover, during the processing, it will react with hydrogen chloride in the resin to form lead chloride, which will affect the transparency of the product. Therefore, this product is mainly used for various opaque hard and soft PVC products, such as PVC 70°C sheath grade cable materials, 90°C and 105°C cable materials, PVC pipes, pipe fittings, special-shaped pipes , hard boards, shoe materials, etc.
Because this product is insoluble in water, it can also be used in the formulation of rigid polyvinyl chloride drinking pipes.
