Products Introduction
SKYBON ES-380 is a low glass transition temperature (Tg) Polycarbonate polyol modified solventborne polyester. Therefore, the product is suitable for adhesives that exhibit excellent flexibility and adhesion to various substrates. Compared with conventional low Tg polyesters, the most important feature is extremely high hydrolysis resistance under high temperature and high humidity. Based on this performance, this product is highly recommended for specialty adhesive applications requiring long-term humidity and heat resistance, such as solar cell backsheets, various pouches and metal lamination, etc. SKYBON ES-380 can be formulated with other medium or high Tg solventborne polyesters to control tack and/or cohesive strength.
SKYBON ES-380 also exhibits low viscosity with relatively high solids content at Widely used industrial solvent adhesive applications such as MEK, ethyl acetate, and TOL.
