Curedfoam caulk Oil leakage can easily lead to poor adhesion, and is toxic and harmful to the human body. The launch of this test method solves the problem of the lack of identification methods for oil leakage of foam caulking agents and fills a gap in the industry.
1. Scope of application
This test method describes how to test one-component foam caulking agent (OCF) for oil leakage after the foam has cured.
2. Brief description of steps
Pop the liquid foam to On the PE film, after curing for 24 hours, cut out the foam of a fixed size and transfer it to A4 paper. Put a 1kg weight on the foam and place it in a 50°C oven for 24 hours to observe the oil permeability.
Three. Background and purpose
The purpose is to determine whether the cured product has oil leakage.
Four. Device
Controllable constant temperature and humidity laboratory;
Adjustable temperature oven;
PE plastic film;
1kg weight;
A4 paper sheets: 70g/m2.
Two boards (wooden boards or other lightweight boards): About 100g, size recommendation: length and width 100*200mm
Utility Knife
Five. Test steps
1. Preparation
Place the sample jar to be tested in the test environment (23℃, 50% relative humidity) for at least 24 hours.
2. Steps
① Shake the one-component foam caulking (OCF) can 60 times;
②Install the nozzle or spray gun;
③Discard the front 30-50g foam;
④at Put 5-6 uniform foam strips on the PE film without leaving any gaps, each with a length greater than 20cm and a diameter of 3-4cm;
⑤Cure After 24 hours, cut into foam blocks with a length and width of 200*100mm (Figure 1).
⑥ Place one or several A4 papers neatly on On one of the boards, place the cut foam block on it, and press an A4 paper, a board and a 1kg weight on the foam block in sequence (Figure 2).
⑦and then placed in 50℃ oven.
⑧After 24 hours, observe whether there are any oil stains on the A4 paper below or above.
6. Judgment criteria
If you observe that there are oil stains on both the upper and lower sides, it is judged that the product does not leak oil.
