The bio-based paint applied to Kia EV9 not only has 100% color certification, but also meets all requirements of Kia cars for physical resistance and chemical resistance, such as resistance to sunscreen, air freshener, high temperature and scratches.
AkzoNobel and Kia Motors have collaborated for ten years. While this new bio-based car interior coating agreement is currently limited to the Korean-produced EV9 model, it is expected to be extended to several upcoming Kia electric vehicle models in the future.
