On October 31, the Fujian Zhongjing Petrochemical Phase II Propane Dehydrogenation Project with an annual output of 1 million tons, the world’s largest single propane dehydrogenation to propylene unit, was successfully completed by Shaanxi Chemical Construction Company. , marking that the project has fully entered the commissioning and preparation stage before production, once again demonstrated the professional technical capabilities and brand influence of Shaanxi Chemical Construction, and further consolidated the foundation of the Fujian regional operating market.

The project will start construction in March 2022. Shaanxi Chemical Construction has deployed an excellent management team and invested sufficient production factors. They sincerely united and worked together to overcome many difficulties such as rainy season construction and cross-cutting operations, and successfully completed the construction tasks. The project management team was carefully organized, managed scientifically, had the courage to innovate, solved problems, and achieved great results during construction. Among them, the innovative use of 800-ton and 260-ton crawler cranes to perform aerial turning over construction methods completed the hoisting of a single reactor weighing approximately 285 tons, saving the time and cost of making large-scale rotating molds, and innovating the hoisting technology of large equipment; ahead of schedule The hoisting of the world’s tallest and largest propane-propylene separation tower was completed in 8 days; the welding of high-temperature pipelines made of TP321 material achieved a 100% welding pass rate; the installation of 8 of the largest centrifugal compressors in the country was successfully completed, setting a new compressor installation record, etc.
According to statistics, Shaanxi Chemical Construction has completed the installation of 195 pieces of equipment. The steel structure weighs 13,580 tons, the pipeline length is 59,683 meters, the cables are 997,000 meters, and the bridge is 14,716 meters.
Zhongjing Petrochemical’s propane dehydrogenation project with an annual output of 1 million tons has a total investment of 4 billion yuan. It is the largest single propane dehydrogenation to propylene unit in the world today. The project introduces advanced propane dehydrogenation to propylene production technology from the American Lummus Company to provide high-purity propylene raw materials for downstream polypropylene companies and complete the recycling industry chain.
