Special performance and usage
Modaflow Lambda is a unique acrylic-silicon polymer flow promoter that combines the properties of both acrylic and silicone leveling agents.
  High compatibility and better surface properties in all non-aqueous system clearcoats and topcoats:
- Gloss
- Fresh DOI
- Clear and bright
- Anti-orange peel effect


Effective at low addition levels and blends easily with solventborne resins including high and very high solids. Moreover, the product can also be applied to solvent-free and radiation-cured systems. Modaflow Lambda shows a better balance of compatibility and effect than traditional silicone or acrylic leveling agents in automotive OEM paints, automotive refinish paints and industrial paints.
Due to the high hydroxyl group content of Modaflow Lambda, this product can be crosslinked in baking and 2K systems without the problem of decreased interlayer adhesion. To ensure recoatability in multi-coat systems, the baking temperature should not exceed 130°C.

The recommended initial addition amount is 0.05% of the total formula, and the suitable addition amount range is 0.05%-0.3 %. In some cases, the addition was increased to 0.5%.
