Special features and uses
Modaflow 9200 is a new low viscosity flow modifier specially developed for high performance solventborne automotive and industrial coatings, especially in clear topcoat applications where it Provides high gloss, low orange peel and excellent DOI (distinctness of image) images in one layer.
Significant improvements in coating quality can be achieved with Modaflow 9200 as follows:
- Improves flow and leveling
- Reduce pinholes, fisheyes, craters and orange peel
- Improved substrate wetting
- Improve or maintain high gloss
- Improve or maintain substrate and interlayer adhesion
- Facilitates pigment dispersion
Dosage: 0.1 - 2.0 % solid resin
Storage
Modaflow 9200 has a storage stability of at least 12 months at 25°C in its original container.
