Product Description
TAKENATE 500 is an aliphatic diisocyanate containing an aromatic ring with some unique properties.
The polyurethane in TAKENATE 500 has better yellowing resistance than the polyurethane in aromatic diisocyanate (such as TDI and MDI). TAKENATE 500 is also more reactive than other aliphatic diisocyanates such as HDI and IPDI.

Features
Excellent weather resistance, color stability and adhesion
Although it is an aliphatic polyisocyanate, it cures faster than TDI aromatic polyisocyanate
Polymerized with polyols, castor oil, and other resins containing hydroxyl groups, it can be used as one-component or two-component polyurethane resins, coatings, adhesives and sealants.
