The first phase project of Pingdingshan Polyurethane Industrial Park includes Shandong Zhengjiang New Materials 30,000 tons of polyurethane insulation materials, Nanjing Renmei New Materials with an annual output of 6,000 tons of high-performance functional polymer materials, Guangdong Changlong Moore’s annual output of 12,000 tons of TPU, Wuxi Bojinnian 6 projects including 3,000 tons of hot-melt polyurethane PUR materials, 3,500 tons of VC adhesives in Xianyang Rongzheng, and 2,000 tons of polyurethane catalysts in Weifang Changwang Environmental Protection. After the project is completed, it is expected to realize an annual sales income of 950 million yuan.
The first phase project of Pingdingshan Polyurethane Industrial Park is operated by China Huarong Industrial Park Management (Pingdingshan) Co., Ltd. China-funded Huarong Industrial Park Management Co., Ltd. focuses on investment promotion, operation and management services of polyurethane industrial parks. Its core members are composed of China Polyurethane Industry Association, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Lunan Polyurethane Industrial Park. Previously, China Huarong Industrial Park Management Co., Ltd. successfully prepared to build and operate Shandong Lunan Polyurethane Industrial Park, and has advanced investment, operation and management experience in industrial parks.
Liu Mingyu, deputy secretary-general of the Pingdingshan Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Party Working Committee of the development zone, said that the successful signing of the project is the result of the scientific decision-making of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government to build China Nylon City, the result of the spared support of the relevant departments directly under the municipal government and the Ye County government, and also the result of the vast number of entrepreneurs. Li Pengpeng, director of the Nylon New Material Development Zone Management Committee, said that the management committee will help enterprises solve various problems in procedures and project construction, and fully serve project construction and enterprise development.
China Nylon City will be built according to the spatial layout of “one core and two wings”. Among them, the Pingdingshan Nylon New Material Development Zone will build an upstream raw material base, the High-tech Zone will build a nylon downstream deep processing base, and the Ye County Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone will build a polyurethane, PC and downstream deep processing industry base.
At present, Pingdingshan Nylon New Material Development Zone has formed a development pattern of the whole industrial chain covering nylon raw materials, intermediates and nylon deep-processing products. It has an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons of caprolactam, 150,000 tons of adipic acid, 150,000 tons of cyclohexanone, and 150,000 tons of nylon 6/66 chips; Projects such as 200,000 tons of adiponitrile (Phase I), 240,000 tons of nylon 66 chips, 200,000 tons of nylon 6 chips, and 200,000 tons of nylon 6 membrane-grade chips are under construction, and the industry’s shortcomings are constantly being filled, and the production capacity scale is constantly increasing. The expansion provides sufficient raw material guarantee for the downstream development of spinning, weaving, injection molding, modification, polyurethane and other industries. The development zone will focus on project construction, provide high-quality services for enterprise production and innovation, promote the deep coupling of the “five chains” of industrial chain, element chain, innovation chain, system chain, and capital chain, and enhance the development resilience of the nylon industry chain.
In terms of polyurethane industry, the development zone has introduced an annual output of 16,000 tons of silicone glue, 70 million bottles of polyurethane foam caulking agent, 100,000 tons of shoe sole liquid, 115,000 tons of polyester polyol, 50,000 tons of degradable plastics, 50,000 tons of tons of polyurethane composite materials, 40,000 tons of polyurethane materials and other projects, the production capacity of polyurethane products in the park will reach 200,000 tons per year, and the annual production capacity will reach 420,000 tons after the projects are fully completed. After the raw materials of the polyurethane industrial park project are produced, they can be directly supplied to product manufacturers in the park to improve the production efficiency of polyurethane products and closely link upstream and downstream enterprises.
