Application : Paint industry

Features and Benefits
This additive slightly reduces the surface tension of the paint. As a leveling agent, it also has defoaming function, especially suitable for non-polar and medium polar systems. Its defoaming effect increases with increasing polarity. BYK-320 canTo prevent "ghosting" and "telegraphing" problems. When solving such problems, additives should be added to the coating that needs to be recoated.

Recommended use
This additive is especially recommended for solvent-based coating systems, and can also be used for water-based systems.

Recommended dosage
0.05-0.6 % additive dosage (as supplied) based on total formulation.
