Application
• Improves wetting of difficult-to-coat substrates with waterborne coatings.
• Improves the wettability of water-soluble flexographic printing inks and gravure printing inks on high-smooth packaging materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate.
• Reduces the amount of organic co-solvent used to improve wetting, improving print life.

Application method
In ink formulations, the typical addition range of DOWSIL™ 67 Additive is 0.1%–1.0% by weight.
By comparing the equilibrium and kinetic surface tension of aqueous solutions, the surface mobility of DOWSIL 67 Additive can be expressed (as shown in Table 1).
