Products Introduction
TINUVIN 123 is a new type of liquid hindered amine light stabilizer, the pH is neutral to avoid reaction with the acid catalyst in the coating. It protects the coating against minor changes such as cracking and tarnishing.

Apply Scope
TINUVIN 123 is recommended for: automotive paint, industrial paint, decorative paint, wood paint, varnish, etc.
TINUVIN 123 is suitable for high solid content, acid-catalyzed automotive paint and industrial paint, such as two-component heat-curing acrylic metallic paint system, one-component heat-curing acrylic, polyester coating layer.
TINUVIN 123 has proven efficient photostability in the following applications:
Air drying of alkyd/acrylic systems Type car refinish paint
Air dry alkyd paint, varnish
two-component PU paint
The liquid form of TINUVIN 123 is also easily compatible with aqueous systems.
TINUVIN 123 can form a synergistic effect with UV absorbers to achieve better results:
In car paint, with UV absorption The addition of the agent TINUVIN 1130 can achieve a good anti-erosion effect, and play a very good protective role in gloss retention, anti-chalking, anti-discoloration, and anti-delamination. Light stabilizers can be added to automotive two-component primers and varnishes; in wood paints, TINUVIN 123 can be added to alkyd air-drying paints together with UV absorber 1130.
Recommended Addition amount (Based on the solid content of the paint system)
