On November 6, the polyurethane new material project was signed and settled in the Shanghai-Su Dafeng Industrial Linkage Cluster (hereinafter referred to as the “Shanghai-Suzhou Cluster”). Weng Kaining, deputy secretary of the party committee and president of the group, Li Zhijun, secretary of the Dafeng District Party Committee, Fan Dayu, director of the Standing Committee of the Dafeng District People’s Congress, Zhang Kai, chairman of Shanghai Jiren Company, and others attended the ceremony. The Shanghai-Suzhou Cluster Management Committee, Shanghai Jiren Company, and Shanghai-Su Dafeng Company jointly signed an investment agreement. Shanghai Jiren Company will build a world-class polyurethane composite energy-saving system material production base in the Shanghai-Suzhou agglomeration area. The project covers an area of about 130 acres, with a total investment of about 500 million yuan and an annual output value of over 1 billion yuan.
Weng Kaining expressed his gratitude to Dafeng District for its care and support for the development of the Shanghai-Suzhou agglomeration area. In order to implement the comprehensive cooperation agreement between the group and Dafeng District and promote higher-quality development of the Shanghai-Suzhou agglomeration area, he requested that, first, we should improve our position and benchmark against the requirements of national, provincial and Dafeng District planning documents, and not compromise.
