Apply Scope
TINUVIN 5050 is a general-purpose light stabilizer. Suitable for varnishes, paints, waterborne and solventborne systems. This additive is especially recommended for clear coats and light paints, such as:
Wood coatings (especially water-based acrylic Liquid system)
One-component or two-component PU coating
Polyester/isocyanate system
Car wax, car polish and vinyl bug spray
Unsaturated polyester/styrene system gel coat
UV curing acrylic and unsaturated polyester system
Before adding TINUVIN 5050 into the water-based system, it should be miscible with water Mixed with soluble solvents, such as: butyldiethylene glycol.
