In September this year, the environmental impact assessment report of Shandong Dongbo Petrochemical Co., Ltd.’s 30,000 tons/year special polyolefin and supporting projects was released before approval.

The environmental impact assessment report disclosed that based on market demand, Jingbo Petrochemical plans to invest 493.4688 million yuan to build a 30,000-ton/year special polyolefin and supporting project in the south plant area of ​​Boxing Chemical Industrial Park. The project mainly constructs an annual output of PB-1 and POE products of 30,000 tons, mainly constructs PB-1 and POE flexible production equipment, and also constructs supporting facilities such as public works, safety, and environmental protection. During the actual construction process, the company plans to adjust the project construction plan based on market demand.

The adjustment plan is:

Change the product plan from POE and PB-1 to three products: C4 POE, C8 POE and PB-1. The total product production capacity remains unchanged;

POE products replace the catalyst, add raw material and recycled material purification processes in the raw material pretreatment section, adjust the process parameters of the main production section, and add fire extinguishing water after polymerization to deactivate the catalyst;

For devolatilization wastewater, oil-water separation pretreatment measures are added, and the oil-water separation phase solid waste step is added.
