Features/Applications
Desmocap® 1190 can be used to prepare curable solvent-free liquid polyurethane systems for use as surface sealants, containment coatings and flexible mortars for laying tiles or floor tiles. It can be mixed with liquid A and/or F grade epoxy resins. Polyamides, usually mixed with epoxy resins, are ideal curing agents, especially aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diamines.

Compatibility              
Generally, Desmocap® 1190 has good compatibility with liquid epoxy resins, tougheners and various liquid amines.

Solubility/Dilution              
Generally, Desmocap®1190 has good compatibility with esters, ketones, ethers, aromatics, various tougheners, turpentine and Kristallöl®60 (turpentine). However, the storage stability of the prepared solution still needs to be tested. Polyurethane grade solvents should be used (less than 0.05% water) and should not contain reactive groups. Long-term storage of low solid content solutions may cause turbidity and precipitation.

- Recommended storage temperature: 10-30°C.
- Avoid moisture, heat, and foreign substances.

General Information: This product should always be stored in its original airtight container. Storage at elevated temperatures may result in an increase in viscosity.

Storage Time                      
The product complies with the specifications stated in the above clause "Specifications or Characteristic Values" within 6 months from the date of shipment stated on the transport document, provided that the product has been stored in full compliance with the requirements of the above clause "Storage" and has been properly handled or characteristic values ​​(as applicable). If the product exceeds the above-mentioned 6-month period, it does not mean that it no longer meets the set values ​​in the specifications or characteristic values. However, it is recommended that products older than 6 months from the date of shipment be tested before use to confirm that they still comply with the values ​​set in the specifications or characteristic values. The manufacturer does not make any promises for products that have been shipped more than 6 months from the date of shipment, and does not assume any responsibility and liability for non-compliance with specifications or set values ​​​​in the characteristic values.
