At the same time, because alumina fibers can effectively isolate high-temperature gases, they are often used in the production of thermal insulation materials. In addition, alumina fiber has better sound absorption effect and is also used in the production of sound-absorbing panels and other products. Overall, alumina fiber has a wide consumer market.

In 2022, my country’s alumina fiber output will be 419.57 tons. There is a certain gap between my country’s alumina fiber production and market demand. A large amount of imports from abroad are still needed to fill the gap, and the degree of dependence on foreign countries is relatively high.

Industry analysts said that foreign alumina fiber companies mainly include 3M, DuPont, ICI, etc., and domestic alumina fiber companies mainly include Dongfang Heng Guoxian, Ou Shiman Crystal, Luyang Energy Saving, Huaxian Dongding, Weiye Crystal, Xinweite, etc. my country’s alumina fiber industry started late but is developing rapidly. In recent years, my country’s alumina fiber companies have continued to increase investment in research and development, production technology has gradually broken through foreign technology blockades, product quality has improved, and the degree of localization has continued to increase.
