Against this background, my country’s naphtha companies have gradually expanded their production scale and their output has continued to grow. In 2022, my country’s naphtha production will be 58.903 million tons, an increase of 11.5% compared with 2021.

From the perspective of production distribution, my country’s naphtha production areas are widely distributed in East China, Central and South China, Northwest China, Southwest China, Northeast China, North China and other regions. Among them, East China is the region with the largest naphtha production, accounting for 41.8%; followed by Northeast China, accounting for 21.3%; Central and South China ranks third, accounting for 18.9%.

Industry analysts said that at present, there is a large gap between my country’s naphtha market demand and production, and large quantities of naphtha still need to be imported from abroad. import. According to data released by the General Administration of Customs, my country’s naphtha imports will be 9.26 million tons in 2022, an increase of 1.65 million tons compared with 2021 and a year-on-year increase of 21.7%. From the perspective of import source countries, the main naphtha importing countries in my country include the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Karta, India, Algeria, South Korea, etc. Among them, South Korea is my country’s largest naphtha import source country, accounting for 20.8% of the import volume; followed by Algeria, accounting for 16.5% of the import volume; the United Arab Emirates ranks third, accounting for 14.9% of the import volume.
