On November 14, Bamberger, a leading thermoplastic resin distributor Polymers announces new supply partnership with NatureWorks, a biomaterials company, to use plants to convert greenhouse gases into Ingeo PLA biopolymer. This collaboration marks an important step in responding to the growing demand for environmentally responsible materials.
Bamberger has significant demand for bio-based materials like PLA from its customers in several key markets, including everything from food packaging and food serviceware (such as cups, trays, lids, straws and cutlery) to yard waste film solutions, produce bags and mulches and other products.
