On the morning of November 24, Zhejiang Province and China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation jointly held the opening ceremony of Sinopec Zhenhai Base’s 1.5 million tons/year ethylene and downstream high-end new materials industry cluster project in Ningbo. China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation The signing ceremony of the cooperation framework agreement between the company and the Ningbo Municipal Government to jointly build the Sinopec Ningbo New Materials High-end Innovation Platform. Project Overview
Project location: Niluoshan reclamation area of Ningbo Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone
Project area: approximately 215 hectares, with approximately 202 hectares of new land (sea)
Project investment: approximately 38.08 billion yuan
Construction content: This project is based on the existing scale of Zhenhai Refining and Chemical to expand 1.5 million tons/year ethylene and downstream new material process equipment and related supporting environmental protection facilities, public auxiliary projects and off-site projects.
This project uses ethylene-rich gas, ethane-rich gas, saturated liquefied gas, hydrogenated C5 and straight-run light/heavy naphtha provided by the Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Production Base as the main raw materials.
The process equipment mainly includes 1.5 million tons/year steam cracking, 800,000 tons/year pyrolysis gasoline hydrogenation, 500,000 tons/year aromatics extraction, 200,000 tons/year butadiene extraction, 180,000 tons/year A tert-butyl ether (MTBE)/butene-1 device, 400,000 tons/year full density polyethylene (FDPE),
2*200,000 tons/year polyolefin elastomer (POE/α olefin) joint,
