On November 28, Hyosung TNC announced major adjustments to its textile brands, including the rebranding of high-performance fiber brand CREORA and environmentally friendly fiber brand Regen.
The adjustment aims to integrate its 65 textile brands into two main categories, CREORA and Regen, to enhance the synergy of existing brand power. Hyosung TNC plans to integrate CREORA (formerly the world’s leading spandex brand) into a unified brand for functional fibers, including polyester and nylon fibers.
This strategic move is expected to widen the gap with rapidly growing global competitors in the spandex industry and strengthen CREORA’s dominant position in the premium market.
In addition, Hyosung TNC intends to use the CREORA brand to increase its sales strategy and global market share in the polyester and nylon fiber industry.
“Regen”, recognized as Korea’s premier recycled fiber brand, will expand its range to include a variety of eco-friendly fibers. These include recycled polyester fiber made from PET bottles, recycled nylon fiber made from fishing nets, recycled spandex fiber and bio-based spandex fiber made from corn.
Driven by strict environmental regulations and policies in Europe and the Americas, Hyosung TNC is committed to consolidating the leading brand position of “regen” in the highly competitive global environmentally friendly fiber market.
