Recently, the environmental impact assessment project of Shangwei (Tianjin) Wind Power Materials Co., Ltd.’s new high-purity epoxy resin production line with an annual output of 6,000 tons was announced.
Project background
Shangwei (Tianjin) Wind Power Materials Co., Ltd. was established in 2007. The factory is located at No. 6 Caiyun Street, Hangu Modern Industrial Zone, Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone. The factory covers an area of 24999.9m2 and mainly produces, processes and sells resin products.
For the company’s strategic considerations, the construction unit plans to invest 10 million yuan to build a new 1t/h high-purity epoxy resin production line in the existing factory area. It mainly uses preheating and distillation processes to separate bisphenol A-type epoxy resin. A total of 6000t/a of high-purity light and heavy epoxy resins were separated (about 5100t/a of light weight and about 900t/a of heavy weight). High-purity light and heavy epoxy resins are not sold as products, but only replace some of the original directly purchased epoxy resin raw materials in the existing epoxy resin compounding product production line in the factory.

In May 2023, Shangwei (Jiangsu) New Materials Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 2,800 tons of hot melt prepreg and 81,900 tons of wind power resin (48,300 tons of wind power agent A and 33,600 tons of wind power agent B). The wind power resin project The product production process was adjusted, the environmental impact assessment of the project was re-implemented, and the output was increased to 2,800 tons/year. The main raw materials are bisphenol A epoxy resin, polyetheramine, isophorone diamine and epoxy diluent.
