This year is the sixth consecutive year that Dow has participated in the CIIE. Dow will hold 10 strategic cooperation memorandum signing ceremonies during the CIIE. On the afternoon of November 5, Dow and Zhenkunxing Industrial Supermarket (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation memorandum worth US$300 million, becoming the “first order on the first day” of this CIIE. Dow will provide a total of approximately US$300 million in silicone products to Zhenkunxing for sales in the Chinese market and provide corresponding products and services. The two parties will also jointly expand into electronics, transportation, new energy, packaging, construction, etc. High value-added, high-growth silicone downstream market. This is the second time that Dow and Zhenkunxing have signed a memorandum of cooperation at the CIIE based on their successful cooperation.
Dow will also launch a recycling practice and publicity and education project on the “No Waste Import, Proper Plastic Management” recycling practice and education project at the booth on the morning of November 6 with the Ministry of Commerce, CIIE Bureau and industry chain partners. The project will be held during the CIIE, fully supporting the “green exhibition, zero-carbon CIIE” initiative.
