Sika launches its newly developed polyurethane sealant technology under the Purform® brand name. This technology enhances the strength and durability advantages of polyurethane and impresses with its extremely low monomer content. The latter enables Sika to produce more sustainable products that meet future environmental and health regulations.
Sikaflex®PRO-3 Purform®
Purform® polyurethane technology enables Sika to significantly reduce the content of monomeric diisocyanates in its products and create solutions with less than 0.1% content. Therefore, it complies with the new EU REACH regulation from August 24, 2023, which aims to improve the protection of human health and the environment. Using Purform® technology, users can benefit from the unique properties of polyurethane at the lowest exposure and highest levels of work safety.
Purform® technology will be used in Sika’s most trusted brands including Sikaflex®, SikaBond®, SicaTack® and SikaFloor®.
