Sanwei’s second phase of 700,000 tons of BDO has been approved!

On December 8, the official website of Wuhai Municipal Development and Reform Commission announced that on December 6, Inner Mongolia Sanwei New Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sanwei Co., Ltd., purchased 900,000 tons/year of BDO and degradable plastics. The request for instructions on measures to mitigate the impact of energy consumption intensity for the integrated project (the second phase of the 700,000-ton project) has been reviewed by the Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission, and the energy consumption mitigation measures for the second phase of the project have been clarified (the design energy consumption of the second phase is equivalent to 1.0355 million tons of standard coal, equivalent value 1.3684 million tons of standard coal) and agreed to start construction.

At present, the main body of the BDO integrated project (Phase I) has been completed and put into trial operation. The annual output of 300,000 tons of BDO and the supporting equipment with an annual output of 360,000 tons of calcium carbide have been fully connected. The products have reached the level of high-quality products. The current market development is progressing smoothly. . After the construction of the second phase of the project is completed, the company will become a leading BDO integrated enterprise.
