According to reports, in the past three years, the Hainan Provincial Market Supervision Department has successively issued documents such as the “Hainan Province 2021 Joint Law Enforcement Action Plan for the Plastic Ban” and “Notice on Strengthening Supervision and Law Enforcement in Key Areas of the Plastic Ban”, deploying the “Iron Fist” operation in the field of people’s livelihood, The 100-day action to consolidate the plastic ban work, organize and implement joint plastic ban law enforcement actions, and guide the market supervision and comprehensive law enforcement departments of cities and counties to investigate and deal with the production, sale, storage, and transportation of disposable non-degradable plastic products. As of November 2023, Hainan A total of 10,308 cases were filed in the province, 9,609 cases were closed, more than 56 million banned plastic products were seized, and 17.1556 million yuan in fines and confiscations were made.

The “Fully Biodegradable Plastic Products Inspection and Testing Laboratory” was built, obtained the National Inspection and Testing Qualification Accreditation (CMA) certificate, and was listed as a key national market supervision laboratory construction project.
