Caster Concepts further expands its manufacturing facility in Albion, Michigan. This is the company’s fourth expansion since 1995.
The facility includes custom polyurethane manufacturing capabilities. Caster
Concepts said the equipment and resources within the factory match the right product to a specific application. Proper use of advanced caster technology, developed for specific material handling challenges, results in 3x longer service life and over 70% reduction in thrust, solving major ergonomic and operational challenges.
Caster Concepts designs and manufactures heavy-duty industrial casters for material handling applications. These include casters compatible with loads in excess of 45 tons (100,000 pounds).

Dobbins added that continued growth in the aerospace, heavy equipment and automotive sectors has led to more customers looking for products that can help them move large parts and finished products through manufacturing facilities and warehouses. “Our expanded manufacturing capabilities position us well to help customers safely address these challenges,” he said.
